3 QUICK AND EASY HAIRSTYLES WHEN YOU’RE IN A RUSH

3 QUICK AND EASY HAIRSTYLES

My hair is super long. Normally, I tend to straighten it and then just leave it for a couple of days before going to wash it again – It’s pretty boring, and I struggle to find any quick and easy ways of mixing it up sometimes, because I’m in a crazy rush before work, usually.

I went on a big hunt a couple of weeks ago to find a few hacks when it came to changing the styles up a little bit, just for some variation. I haven’t really looked back since either, because now I get regular compliments about the weird and wonderful looks I’m sporting.

THE SUPER LONG PONYTAIL

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

-Yourself

-Hair clip

-1x clear plastic hair band

-1x regular hair band

-Brush

-Hairspray

This is so easy it hurts me to even right this! Split your hair into two halves (top and bottom), clipping the top half and then using the bottom section to make a ponytail on it’s own.

Then, ensuring the bottom ponytail is in line, grab the top section and tie it up into another ponytail, hiding the bottom in the process.

ET VOILA. Your super long ponytail is complete.

5 MINUTE CURLS

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

-Yourself

-Hair curler tool

-1x clear plastic hair band

-Heat protector spray

-Hairspray

Curling your hair can often feel like a arduous task, particularly when you’ve got long luscious locks, particularly when you’ve got four or five sections to get through before your day starts properly.

Simply grab your hair tie, flip your hair forward and pop it up in a pony tail, choose your hair tool of choice and grab your hair in 2-3cm sections, curling each as you normally would.

Once you’ve gone through all your sections, simply pull the hair tie out and there you go, super quick and a simple way of getting a different style sorted in a matter of minutes.

FRENCH MAID BRAIDS

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

-Yourself

-A comb

-A hairbrush

-2x clear plastic hair bands

-Handful of bobby pins

-Hairspray

So it goes like this – horizontally split your hair down the middle and begin plaiting your ponytails fairly loosely, making sure that you’re able to fold them over the top of your head comfortably.

Once both are complete, pull them apart ever so slightly for a more ‘casj’ look! Tight braids can often make for a more done up look rather than something you’ve just done in 5 minutes – but it still looks amazing!

So grab your braid and carefully fold it over the top of your head, securing it with a bobby pin, and do the same with the other braid – be sure to use bobby pins the same colour as your hair just for a more finished look, and tuck where you’ve tied the hair up under each braid too… and there you go! If you want, you can pull some bits of hair out just to frame your face and make it look a little more complete!
